Doll House

My sister can't keep a secret, lol. She told me that her husband is making me a Kiddle doll house for Christmas this year. I've been trying to figure out a new display idea and look forward to playing. I have a few Kiddles that are still attached to the card. Do you think it would be really "bad" if I took them off the card so they can play? I really want to do this, but I hesitate. Your thoughts will be appreciated. Don't bash me though, I haven't done it yet, lol....

Slipsy Outfit Question

Does anyone know if Slipsy's outfit had a fabric variation? I recently acquired a Slipsy, and her outfit looks original to me. However, the floral pattern on the fabric is different than that of my other Slipsy. I didn't know if maybe there was a variation or if someone just did an excellent job in duplicating her outfit. The colors are all the same, only the flowers are different. If you know, I would appreciate your input. Variations is not my area of expertise, lol. I know that...

I was looking at Ebay...something I've tried to avoid for months. LOL Anyway, I found the cutest Liddle Kiddle and she looked brand new! I'm just hoping she arrives as great as she looks in the auction. I think I got a great deal!

I got mine at long defunct Philadelphia stores,''Kiddie City''; ''John's Bargain Basement''; ''Lit Brother'''s dept store toy dept; and a neighborhood store called ''Bankrupt Stock'' They were 50 cents there in the 70's. Peteena Poodle in a baggie was too. It's all so vivid in my mind. How about you all?

Broken bracelet clasp

Rah Rah's dress

She's my favorite skeddiddler. Her skirt is separated from the waistband in a spot. Can that be sewn back or glued back on? Something about her reminds me of Barbie's mod cousin Francie.

I have my childhood one. The pocketbook is pink with a window for the doll. The Cragstan tag is still on it. Unfortunately, I removed and lost her shoes and socks about 42 years ago. Anybody know what I'm talking about?
