First you need a "host" for your image that allows remote loading. In laymans terms a place on the web to store your pictures who will let you post them around the web.
I recommend PHOTOBUCKET, it's free and not only lets you post them else where it gives you the option of only having THUMBNAILS which people can click on to see a larger image. Which is handy if you don't have a photo editor to resize images in, or you simply don't want/have the patience to resize them.
photobucket.com/
(Sorry you'll have to cut and paste that address changing this page so you can SEE the code removes the option of making links)
once you have your images hosted making them show up in your post is farily easy. your URL is the address where the picture is. it will always start with
To simply post the picture you use ezboard codes
Either hit the button on the left hand side there that says
image or you can type in

If you want thumbnails and you have photobucket
1) you upload your image
2) click the radio button below the image(s) you want
3) scroll to the bottom of the page and use the button that says generate HTML and IMG code this is the last button on the right.
It takes you to a new page where you see boxes of code you want: IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended that is the third option from the top.
hopefully thats fairly clear, if you need any help please feel free to ask
